Galatians 1

Arlin Sorensen's Thoughts on Scripture

Galatians 1 has Paul connecting with the church in Galatia.  Paul gives them a greeting of who he is and what he has to teach them.  “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory forever and ever”.  His focus is single-minded being about Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross to set us free from the penalty of sin and deliver victory over evil.
